What is this Indicator?
This indicator shows the rate of motor vehicle crashes per 1,000 licensed Florida resident drivers aged 15-18.
Why this is important: 
35% of the licensed drivers in Florida are between the ages of 15 to 18. In 2009 there were over 235,000 traffic crashes, 13% of those crashes involved teen drivers. Over 10,000 of those teens were killed in the crashes.
Technical Note:  The distribution for this indicator is based on data from all 67 Florida counties.

What is this Indicator?
This indicator shows the rate of motor vehicle crashes per 1,000 licensed Florida resident drivers aged 15-18.
Why this is important: 
35% of the licensed drivers in Florida are between the ages of 15 to 18. In 2009 there were over 235,000 traffic crashes, 13% of those crashes involved teen drivers. Over 10,000 of those teens were killed in the crashes.
Technical Note:  The trend is a comparison between the most recent and previous measurement periods. Confidence intervals were not taken into account in determining the direction of the trend.
