This indicator shows the age-adjusted incidence rate for all cancer sites in cases per 100,000 population. |
| Why this is important: Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the United States. It is estimated that 1,479,350 men and women (766,130 men and 713,220 women) were diagnosed with cancer, and 562,340 men and women died of cancer of all sites in 2009. |
| Technical Note: The distribution is based on data from 67 Florida counties. |
