What is this Indicator?
This indicator shows the percent of the total population that are women of childbearing age (15-44 years old).
Why this is important: 
For women, ages 15 to 44 represent the years in life when reproduction is most likely. When a relatively high percentage of the population is comprised of women of childbearing age, we can expect a higher birth rate. When that percentage is smaller, we would expect a lower birth rate overall.
Technical Note:  The county value is compared to the state value.

This indicator shows the percent of the total population that are women of childbearing age (15-44 years old).
Why this is important:

Technical Note:  The trend is a comparison between the most recent and previous measurement periods. Confidence intervals were not taken into account in determining the direction of the trend.
