| Why this is important: When a community has a larger proportion of its population age 65 years and older with no disabilities, it is an indication that the older population enjoys a healthier lifestyle. On the other hand, a community with a lower proportion of older adults with no disabilities may need to consider if services to assist individuals with disabilities are suffucient. |
