What is this Indicator?
This indicator shows the percent of adults age 65 and older that do not have disabilities.
Why this is important:
When a community has a larger proportion of its population age 65 years and older with no disabilities, it is an indication that the older population enjoys a healthier lifestyle. On the other hand, a community with a lower proportion of older adults with no disabilities may need to consider if services to assist individuals with disabilities are suffucient.
Technical Note:  The regional value is compared to the Florida state value. No data available for Baker County.
