ST. JOHNS COUNTY REMAINS HEALTHIEST IN FLORIDA
ST. AUGUSTINE - The Florida Department of Health in St. Johns County recognizes the value in measuring health factors and outcomes, and expresses its appreciation to the University of Wisconsin and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for the fourth annual County Health Rankings and Roadmaps report. This report uses traditional, established data, much of which was obtained from the Department, and available at http://www.floridacharts.com.
These rankings serve as a snapshot of the health of individuals across counties in each state in the nation. The report highlights that health is a combined work in progress across a variety of community partners, and the Florida Department of Health (DOH), through its county health departments, works together to improve the health of all Floridians. The data used in these rankings includes information related to physical environment, social and economic factors, health behaviors, education, crime rate/law enforcement and clinical care.

The site helps planners, policy makers, and community members learn about issues and identify improvements necessary for healthful outcomes. We invite you to use the site as a tool for community assessment, strategic planning, collaboration, community capacity development, grant development, and educational and advocacy purposes.
